Natural Pools
There are many swimming pools right in front of Pousada da Amendoeira naturally formed by the sea tide and coral reef. Besides those there are many others accessible by boats called jangadas directly arranged with fishermen in the region. It will be special contemplation time under the sea and fun from interesting stories told and lived by experienced fishermen.

Manatee
In quick boat trips throughout dark water rivers existing in the near area, it is possible to observe some sea manatee. They were reinserted in their native habitat by IBAMA (Federal Bureau for Environment Preservation).

Tatuamunha River
Tatuamunha River is three kilometers far from Pousada da Amendoeira hotel and is mandatory route for visitors due to its beauty.

Mount Beach
By car or bike it is possible to visit the Mount Beach (Praia do Morro) that is 10 kilometers far from the hotel. It is one of the most beautiful and primitive beaches of all state.

Surf
It looks like a paradise and it is also the best surf point in north coast. Less crowd then other beaches, it has 2 meters high waves that guarantee requested adrenaline to sport fans. Preferably visited during winter months.

Lage and Patacho Beach
Patacho Beach was elected the most primitive beach in Brazil by Guia 4 Rodas (most important tourism Brazilian guide). Its neighbor beach is Lage Beach that also presents unique beauty.

Ecotourism Tracks
There are several tracks inside vast cocoanut trees farms that link colonial central houses to preserved areas of Atlantic Forest.

Horse mount or horse car tracking
It is possible to rent a horse or horse wagon and visit near beaches and small villages guided by region's people.

Tropical Flowers
It is also recommended to visit Oiteiro Farm. It produces exotic flowers and tropical flowers exported to Europe and distributed around Brazil.
