Amendoeira is an almond tree. An almond tree that is planted in fertile ground and grows healthy will blossom abundantly and will bear sweet fruits, which will feed and give life to other almond trees. The reason why the name Sweet Almond (Amêndoa Doce) has been given to Strategic Plan of Pousada da Amendoeira is because it is the best fruit we can get from a successful plan.
